Child protection in Sindh operates through a structured system in which different levels of government and institutions carry specific responsibilities. Laws are enacted at federal and provincial level. Policies and oversight are provided by federal and provincial authorities to guide implementation. Departments and specialised agencies then deliver services, enforce laws, and respond to child protection concerns on the ground.
Police officers work within this system and must therefore understand which body is responsible for what action so that children receive timely protection, care, justice and support.
